Personal Care
Like all forms of care, support with personal care is built completely around your individual needs and personal routines. If you like to wash before breakfast or have a bath before going to bed, a carer will happily follow your schedule, letting you live the way you want. With Rather home care, you have the choice of having a visiting carer – someone who visits at set times of the day or even overnight – to provide the support you need. Each carer is expertly trained to provide personal care in a way that is discreet and respectful of your personal boundaries. They undertake extensive training where they learn the importance of enabling your dignity and independence at all times.
Home Help Services
Our Home Care service is personalised and tailored individually. There is nothing “Standard” about our Home Care service. Our only aim is to facilitate our service user’s remaining in their own homes with dignity, independence, and control over their lives. Regardless of the level of support needed, a member of Rather Home Care team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Companionship Services
With our Companionship care and support, you can be assured that our carers will provide you with the companionship you need. Having someone to talk to, listen to music with, help with shopping or making appointments on time. Reablement
Helping you get back on your feet. Our Specialist Reablement Service support to people following a hospital stay. Reablement services help people to retain or regain their skills and confidence, so they can learn to manage again after a period of illness.
Compassionate Care at the End of Life
If you are nearing end of life or you are diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, you may think that you have to move away from home.
This is not necessarily the case, as both palliative care and end of life care can be provided to people at home.
However, the same services you would be able to receive in a hospital or hospice may not be available in your own home.
